Once Upon A Matress; day... oh, I give up.

I've stopped counting days. I'm a little... spacially retarded, so to speak.
Well, I'm in the orchestra pit for Ponderosa High School's production of "Once Upon a Matress". Exciting? Yuh.
I KNOW no one reads this damned blog, but someday someone will. As I said before, this is mostly for my own sanity. I need to rant to someone... why not the unclaimed internet?
Highlights of my day:
Seeing the sexy senior (who shall NOT be named) with no shirt on (:D)
Brendon Urie singing "MY DICK GOT SUCKED THROGH THE WINDOW, AND IT WAS PAINFUL AND BAD, OHHHH."
Muhaha.

Day 5; school.

Sorry I missed yesterday, I was extremely busy. So, right now I'm sitting in my photography class watching Monster's Inc. and avoiding the sub. Scary stuff. Mr Porter, my teacher, is 'sick' (aka at home designing tshirts and snowbording).

Well, I can't talk for long, so I'll maybe update again later. xo

Day 3; Math.

It dawned on me that no one is going to ever read this blog, so it's mostly for my sanity at this point.
Math will be the end of me. I can't believe it. I'm a straight A student with a fucking C in math. I flunked the final. Like, an F. It's disgusting how dumb I am in that class really. Algebra is the worst. Hopefully Geometry will be easier next year.
I don't have that much to say besides the fact that I'm angry at myself.
Current song: Tonight Tonight- The Smashing Pumpkins. Though I don't like Billy Corgan that much, I adore this song. It's a classic.

Day 2; Back Aches.

Hello again. Well, there's not much to say today, kind of boring. I am now a photoshop ninja, woot.
Hm, I'd like to rant about something...
RACISM:

Yes, this is my chosen topic of the day. Probably because it's Black History month, and it's a good time to get these things out in the open.
It's the 21st century, people. Not the 1800's, not the 60's, 2009. And guess what? We just elected a black man to be our 44th president of the united states of america. It doesn't matter if you hate him, or you don't agree with him, but the fact is that he's out elected leader now, and you have to come to terms with it. I can understand being biased against his views... but, if you hate him for any of the following reasons, you are wayyy out of wack. Because he's black, because his name's 'Barack Hussein Obama', or because his father was born and lived in Kenya. If you hate him for any of these reasons, you, my not so dear friend, are a racist. It's not a disease, but you need to cure yourself anyway. Get cultured, start understanding that people are people, and it doesn't matter what the color of their skin is, and it doesn't jusitfy anything about them. Dispite the fact, we all bleed the same color. We're all on this earth together, and if we're going to save it, everyone needs to learn how to accept each other. Skin tone is a trait, and it doesn't instantly mean that you're like one of the nasty stereo-types they throw at us. For example, I'm 1/2 indian, and I'm not amazingly smart in most subjects, and I DON'T want to be a doctor, or a lawyer, or anything that people may stereotize me to be. Racial slurs are so 40 years ago. Let's move on, shall we?
Done for today with the ranting. Maybe I'll come back to this subject later, maybe I won't. Who knows.

Day 1; Hello, My name is...

Blog=a good idea. I have so many thoughts in my head all of the time, and the myspace blogs seem rather insignificant. Now, 'blogger' has the word 'blog' in the name, so that's a total bonus.

Well, hai. My name's Rachel, and I live in the most of the time freezing cold state of Colorado. It's kind of a hick state, but near where I live, around Denver, it's mostly liberal progressive. I love it here, and I wouldn't mind living here forever, but I'd rather live in England, my favorite place in the world.

I'm 14 (but way too mature for my age), and I'm a freshman. Well, 1/2 a freshman, anyway.

My passion is music. I play it, listen to it, think about it... pretty much everything that has to do with it. I play the piano, guitar, viola, violin, bass, some harmonica, and the vocal chords.

My favorite artists include...

The Beatles (obv.), Panic At The Disco, The Hush Sound, 3OH!3 (hometown represent!) , AFI, Bob Dylan, My Chemical Romance, Pink Floyd, The Ting Tings, Cobra Starship, The Academy Is..., Radiohead

and many, many more.

So, blogs... well, we're supposed to talk about what's on our minds, right?

The Grammy's are tonight, anyone else going to watch them? I might, just because of 'Green Day's big announcement'. I've been listening to them for years, and it's about time they put out another album. I can't wait for John Mayer's performance, and to see if Panic wins their category. School's tomorrow again, bleh. I skipped out on the Sadie Hawkin's dance yesterday, but it was going to be lame anyway. Homecoming's fun, but now Sadie's.

Well, that's it for now. I guess I'll get a little more used to this later. tata.

Maybe I'll get a 'picture of the day' thing going.
